Refund Policy

Important: Heritage Wood Masters is committed to customer satisfaction and fair refund practices for furniture restoration services across India.
1. Consultation Refunds
Our initial furniture assessment consultations are provided free of charge. No refunds are applicable for consultation services as they incur no cost to customers.
2. Deposit Refunds
Project deposits are refundable under the following conditions:
- Full refund: If work has not commenced within 48 hours of deposit payment
- Partial refund: After materials are ordered or work has begun, minus actual costs incurred
- No refund: After work is 25% complete or custom materials are cut/prepared
3. Project Completion Refunds
Refunds for completed restoration work are considered under these circumstances:
- Work does not meet agreed specifications (full investigation required)
- Structural damage occurs due to our negligence during restoration
- Materials used differ from those specified in the written agreement
- Project delivery exceeds agreed timeline by more than 30 days without justification
4. Quality Issues
If you're unsatisfied with restoration quality:
- Report issues within 7 days of project completion
- Allow our master craftsmen opportunity to address concerns
- Partial refunds may be provided if issues cannot be resolved satisfactorily
- Our lifetime guarantee covers workmanship defects at no additional cost
5. Customer-Initiated Cancellations
If you cancel a restoration project:
- Before work begins: Full deposit refund minus 10% administrative fee
- After work begins: Refund of remaining balance after deducting completed work value
- After 50% completion: No refunds, but customer receives completed work
6. Force Majeure Events
In cases of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable events affecting service delivery:
- Projects may be delayed without penalty to Heritage Wood Masters
- Customers may choose to wait or receive refund of unearned portions
- Priority booking given when services resume
7. Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed as follows:
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@heritagewoodmasters.in
- Investigation and response within 7 business days
- Approved refunds processed within 14 business days
- Refunds issued via original payment method (bank transfer, UPI, etc.)
8. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
- Custom materials specifically ordered for your furniture
- Travel expenses for site visits outside standard service areas
- Storage fees if furniture is not collected within agreed timeframes
- Third-party specialist services (upholstery, metalwork, etc.)
9. Dispute Resolution
If refund requests cannot be resolved directly:
- Mediation through Indian consumer protection forums
- Arbitration as per Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
- Good faith efforts to reach mutually satisfactory solutions
